Role Description
This full-time on-site role, based in Delhi, India, is for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the auditing process. In this role, regular tasks include budget preparation, account reconciliation, tax filing, and financial forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day accounting operations and finalization of accounts
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax (TDS, Advance Tax, Returns), and Companies Act
- Manage statutory, tax, and internal audits; coordinate with auditors and advisors
- Oversee banking, reconciliations, working capital, and vendor payments
Eligibility & Experience
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, Financial Reporting, and Budget Preparation
- Experience with Tax Filing, Compliance, and Auditing Practices
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and Tools, such as QuickBooks or Excel
- Excellent Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Organizational Skills
- Strong Communication
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA-Inter, M.com, B.com)
Preferred Profile
3-4 years of experience in a CA firm, trading, or service-oriented businesses
Exposure to multi-location accounting
Process-driven mindset with automation exposure
