The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing accounting operations in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Indian GAAP, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and strong internal controls. The role requires in-depth technical accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in financial statements, and coordination with auditors and internal stakeholders.

Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.
Preparing statutory accounts.
Ensuring payments, amounts, and records are correct.
Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
Recording and filing cash transactions.
Controlling credit and chasing debt.
Invoice processing and filing.
Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve.
Bank reconciliation.
Liaising with third party providers, clients, and suppliers.
Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately.
Analytical thinker and problem solver.
Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software.
High level of accuracy.
Handle statutory compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other regulatory requirements.
Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
Administrative skills.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (CA / CMA preferred).
58 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Ind AS and Indian GAAP (mandatory).
Experience in statutory audits, tax audits, and compliance reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho, etc.).
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
