About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in manufacturing to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in cost accounting, financial analysis, compliance, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost-optimization initiatives.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Conduct financial audits and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, sales, and other departments to support decision-making.
- Stay updated with relevant accounting standards and industry regulations.
- Mentor and develop junior accounting staff.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 1015 years of progressive accounting experience in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory management.
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Proven leadership experience in managing accounting teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
