Job Summary
Reelotek Metals is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant (CA) to oversee the company's accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Indian accounting standards, statutory compliance, and financial controls, with hands-on experience in a manufacturing or metals-related industry being a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, inventory accounting, and fixed assets
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and statutory requirements
- Ensure accurate cost accounting, stock valuation, and margin analysis
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
Taxation & Compliance
- Manage direct and indirect taxation including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Transfer Pricing (if applicable)
- Ensure timely filing of GST returns, income tax returns, TDS returns, and statutory filings
- Handle tax assessments, audits, notices, and liaise with tax authorities
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and ensure company-wide compliance
Audits & Controls
- Lead statutory, tax, internal, and cost audits
- Act as the primary point of contact for auditors, consultants, and regulators
- Establish and strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and risk mitigation frameworks
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable laws
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Provide financial insights to management for decision-making
- Monitor cash flows, working capital, and fund utilization
- Assist in pricing, cost optimization, and profitability improvement initiatives
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Mentor and supervise the accounting and finance team
- Coordinate with operations, procurement, sales, and logistics teams
- Work closely with banks, financial institutions, and external advisors
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, GST, Income Tax, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Experience in manufacturing / metals / industrial sector preferred
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
- High attention to detail, integrity, and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in a manufacturing or metals company
- Exposure to cost audits, inventory-heavy environments, and plant accounting
- Experience handling multiple entities or group companies
