Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts & Finance Executive with strong expertise in GST, TDS, financial reporting, and international transactions, specifically within the events and exhibitions industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing taxation compliance, financial statements, and project-based costing for exhibitions and stalls.

Key Responsibilities:

1. GST Compliance

  • Preparation and filing of GST Returns (GSTR-3B) on a monthly basis
  • Handling GST Input/Output reconciliation
  • Performing 2A vs 2B reconciliation and resolving discrepancies
  • Ensuring compliance with GST laws and regulations

2. TDS Management

  • Calculation and deduction of TDS as per applicable sections
  • Preparation and filing of Quarterly TDS Returns
  • Issuance of TDS certificates (Form 16A)
  • Handling TDS notices and reconciliations

3. Financial Reporting

  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Assisting in budgeting and forecasting
  • Maintaining proper accounting records and documentation

4. Finalization of Accounts

  • Preparation of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account
  • Coordination with auditors for statutory audits
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial statements

5. International Payments & Remittance

  • Handling foreign remittances and international vendor payments
  • Ensuring compliance with FEMA and RBI guidelines
  • Coordination with banks for outward remittance documentation
  • Managing Form 15CA / 15CB compliance

6. Exhibition & Stall Costing

  • Preparing cost sheets for exhibitions and stalls
  • Tracking project-wise expenses and profitability
  • Coordinating with operations and sales teams for budgeting
  • Monitoring cost control and variance analysis

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of GST (3B Filing, 2A/2B Reconciliation)
  • Expertise in TDS working & quarterly return filing
  • Hands-on experience in financial statements (BS & P&L)
  • Knowledge of international payment processes & remittance
  • Experience in event/exhibition costing is mandatory
  • Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter
  • Experience in Events, Exhibitions, or Media Industry preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines during exhibitions
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and compliance-oriented approach

Experience: 5 to 15 Years
