About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager Performance Marketing to lead and grow high-impact client relationships across performance marketing, paid media, and social retainers.

This role is the business spine for brands that rely on Wirality for revenue growth, conversions, and digital scale across platforms such as Meta, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, and quick commerce ecosystems.

You will be the client's strategic partner, the internal team's orchestrator, and the owner of delivery, retention, and account growth.

This role is ideal for someone who understands both numbers and narrative confident discussing CAC, ROAS, and MER, while also appreciating creative hooks, storytelling, and consumer intent.

Job Description

Client Strategy & Business Growth

  • Own end-to-end client relationships for growth-stage, performance-driven brands
  • Build quarterly and monthly growth plans across paid media, performance marketing, and social retainers
  • Translate business objectives (sales, CAC, ROAS, reach, engagement) into actionable plans
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across media buying, UGC, influencer marketing, and retainers
  • Present insights, recommendations, and next steps confidently to senior client stakeholders

Performance Marketing Coordination

(You won't run ads, but you are accountable for how they perform)

  • Work closely with performance teams across Meta, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, and Q-commerce platforms to:
    • Set performance targets
    • Review weekly and monthly reports
    • Diagnose performance dips and spikes
    • Align creative and media outputs
    • Prioritize experiments and tests
  • Apply working knowledge of attribution, CAC, ROAS, MER, funnels, and creative impact
  • Convert media performance insights into actionable creative and strategic decisions
Paid Media & Media Buying

  • Lead planning and execution of awareness and reach campaigns across digital inventories
  • Collaborate with media planners on strategy, allocations, targeting, and optimization logic
  • Ensure brand safety, compliance, pacing, and quality of delivery
  • Coordinate with vendors, publishers, and platform partners to drive results

Social Media Management (Retainer Brands)

  • Oversee retainer clients focused on organic growth, storytelling, and community building
  • Lead monthly content calendar discussions with creative and strategy teams
  • Ensure consistent delivery of:
    • Static creatives
    • Short-form videos
    • Storylines
    • Influencer integrations
  • Track engagement, reach, follower growth, and insights to refine content strategies
  • Maintain brand tone, consistency, and growth trajectory
Internal Project Leadership

  • Manage and mentor Account Executives and Junior Account Managers
  • Work closely with:
    • Director Media
    • Cluster Head Paid Media
    • Creative Strategists
    • Creative and Production teams
  • Create project plans, timelines, approval flows, and ensure zero-delay execution
  • Maintain strong cross-department alignment
Reporting, Retention & Growth

  • Ensure timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
  • Convert performance data into strategic recommendations
  • Pre-empt escalations with early warning flags and proactive solutions
  • Drive renewals, expansions, and long-term client retention through value demonstration

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • 35 years of account management experience in a digital-first agency
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing and paid media fundamentals
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting dashboards (Meta, Google Ads, Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads)
  • Experience managing social retainers and creative output
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management and coordination capabilities
  • Experience working closely with creative and media teams
