We are looking for an experiencedSenior Academic Counsellorto guide students in selecting the right academic programs, drive enrolments, and mentor junior counsellors. The role requires strong counselling expertise combined with a target-oriented sales approach.
Vacancies are currently available in two departments at our institution:
1. Edutree International( Study Abroad ) - 6 Vacancies
2. Edutree Education( Online Degree , MBA , MCA courses from Amrita University , Amity University, Jain University , Manipal University ) - 8 Vacancies
Key Responsibilities:
Handle high-quality student enquiries (calls, walk-ins, online leads)
Provide expert academic & career counselling based on student profiles
Achieve and exceed monthly admission and enrolment targets
Mentor and support junior academic consultants
Handle escalations, objections, and parent counselling professionally
Ensure accurate information on courses, universities, eligibility & fees
Maintain CRM updates, follow-ups, and conversion reports
Coordinate with admissions and operations teams.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong academic counselling expertise with advanced sales skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
Leadership, mentoring, and team-handling skills
Strong follow-up discipline and time management
Ability to handle pressure, targets, and complex counselling scenarios
Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and digital communication tools.
Eligibility:
Bachelor / MBA Degree (Marketing specialisation preferred)
2 to 5 years of experience in academic counselling / education sales
Strong communication, persuasion, and closing skills
Leadership mindset with mentoring ability
Target-driven, disciplined, and professional approach
