About the RoleA marketplace is only as good as its supply. You can build the best product in the world, but if sellers aren't onboarding, going live, and succeeding - none of it matters. Supply is what makes or breaks a live commerce platform, and this role is at the centre of it.
This is one of the most important roles in the company. You'll be talking to our most important customers - our sellers - every single day. You'll understand what they need before the product team does. You'll see patterns in seller behaviour that nobody else in the company has visibility into. And you'll turn those conversations into insights that directly shape what we build, how we grow, and where we focus.
The day-to-day is a mix of sales hustle and analytical rigour. You're generating leads, making calls, running demos, hand-holding sellers through onboarding and their first live session. But you're also deep in spreadsheets - tracking onboarding funnels, retention cohorts, engagement metrics, figuring out why certain sellers thrive and others churn. You're not just doing the work, you're measuring it, finding patterns, and using those patterns to do it better.
We also expect you to be tech-forward in how you work. Use AI tools to speed up research, automate outreach, analyse data faster, generate seller insights at scale. If you're someone who's already using LLMs, automation tools, and smart workflows to multiply your output - you'll thrive here. If you're still doing everything manually, this probably isn't the right fit.
What You'll DoSeller Acquisition & Onboarding- Generate and convert leads from platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and other channels
- Conduct outbound calls and messaging campaigns to potential sellers - figure out what pitch works and iterate on it
- Guide new sellers through account setup, store configuration, and their first live selling session
- Develop and test creative acquisition strategies to expand the seller baseincluding offline outreach if that's what works
Seller Success & Retention- Monitor seller performance metrics - engagement rates, session frequency, revenue trends - and act on what you see
- Conduct regular seller check-ins and surveys to understand what's working, what's broken, and what they wish existed
- Build deep relationships with key sellers to understand market dynamics and unlock growth opportunities
- Help sellers optimise their product mix and connect them with suppliers where relevant
- Create retention playbooks based on patterns from top-performing sellers
- Implement early intervention programs for sellers showing signs of churn
Data, Analytics & Insights- Own the seller data stack - maintain comprehensive records of seller performance, followership, engagement, and sales metrics in well-structured spreadsheets and dashboards
- Build and maintain cohort analyses, onboarding funnels, and retention trackers in Excel or Google Sheets
- Analyse seller behaviour trends to surface actionable insights for the product, growth, and leadership teams
- Track and report on key metrics including onboarding conversion rates, retention curves, activation milestones, and seller satisfaction scores
- Translate qualitative seller feedback into structured, quantitative insights that the team can act on
Growth & Cross-functional Work- Collaborate with marketing and content teams on UGC campaigns, referral programs, and seller-focused initiatives
- Contribute to growing Zoop's YouTube properties
- Experiment with creative growth hacks to acquire and retain sellers - use AI tools to identify new seller pools, automate outreach workflows, and test approaches faster than you could manually
- Synthesise seller feedback to inform product development and platform enhancements
What We're Looking ForMust-Have- Excellent with data and spreadsheets - you live in Excel or Google Sheets. Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, building dashboards from scratch - this is second nature to you, not something you're learning
- Strong analytical thinking - you don't just collect data, you find patterns. You can look at a retention cohort and tell us why sellers are dropping off in week 3, not just that they are
- AI and tech-driven approach - you're already using AI tools (Claude, N8N etc) to work faster and smarter. You look for technological solutions to manual problems instinctively
- Sales instincts and hustle - you know how to generate leads, make cold calls, and close. You've done it before and you have the numbers to show for it
- Relationship builder - you're the kind of person sellers want to talk to. You build trust quickly, you remember context from previous conversations, and people feel heard when they talk to you
- Strong communication in Hindi and English - you can build rapport with a seller in Surat just as easily as one in Delhi
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity - we're early stage, processes are still being built, and that excites you rather than scares you
- Experience in sales, account management, or customer success roles
Nice-to-Have- Previous experience in marketplace or e-commerce platforms
- Experience working with small business owners or individual entrepreneurs
- Background in retail, fashion, or consumer goods industries
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales automation platforms
- Experience with SQL or BI tools (Metabase, Looker, etc.)

- Seller Retention: Maintain >70% seller retention rate after 90 days
