Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java Selenium Automation Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in automation testing and strong hands-on expertise in Java and Selenium WebDriver. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of automation frameworks, Selenium, Java, API testing, defect management, and CI/CD practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Develop and maintain robust automation testing frameworks.
- Execute automated and manual test cases and analyze test results.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and testing needs.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation scripts and frameworks.
- Participate in test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting.
- Troubleshoot automation failures and identify root causes.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to improving test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall QA processes.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and work closely with cross-functional teams.
Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Java
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Experience in developing/working with Selenium automation frameworks
- Good understanding of TestNG/JUnit
- Strong knowledge of Core Java and OOP concepts
- Experience in Functional and Regression Testing
- Experience with Git/version control
- Good understanding of API testing
- Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
