Selenium with Java

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using TestNG/JUnit, Maven, and Page Object Model (POM).
• Analyze functional and technical requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, document, troubleshoot, and track defects using tools such as Jira.
• Perform API testing using tools/frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Work with Git for source-code management and participate in code reviews.
• Implement data-driven, parameterized, and reusable automation components.
• Investigate test failures and distinguish between application defects, automation issues, and environmental problems.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to improving test coverage, automation stability, execution time, and overall QA processes.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on automation best practices.
