The role is primarily focused on automation testing (approximately 80%), while also providing exposure to product management activities (approximately 20%), including requirement analysis, feature validation, stakeholder collaboration, sprint planning, and ensuring product quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
The successful candidate should be passionate about quality engineering, possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality enterprise software.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements, participate in requirement grooming sessions, and identify gaps, edge cases, and testability concerns.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and meet business objectives.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute reusable automated test scripts for web applications using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Design and execute API automation tests using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test scenarios and test cases covering functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, end-to-end (E2E), and API testing.
- Develop and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks.
- Integrate automated test suites into the Jenkins CI/CD pipeline and ensure reliable execution of automated tests.
- Perform manual and automated testing throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) to validate product quality.
- Identify, document, prioritize, track, and verify software defects with clear reproduction steps and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Validate implemented features against business requirements and acceptance criteria before release.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, story estimation, and release planning by providing quality and testing perspectives.
- Update and maintain test scenarios, automation scripts, and related documentation based on changing business requirements.
- Create and maintain test documentation, test evidence, and automation documentation.
- Perform peer reviews of automation scripts and test cases to ensure quality, maintainability, completeness, and adherence to coding standards.
- Monitor automation execution results, analyze failures, and continuously improve test stability and coverage.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release validation, and production verification activities when required.
- Prepare and communicate testing status, quality metrics, risks, and release readiness to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices, code quality, and continuous improvement across the team.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance product quality, testing efficiency, and overall engineering excellence.
