Client is looking for a Security System Estimation Engineer to join their engineering and pre-sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, technical proposals, and system designs for low-current and security systems across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
You will work closely with sales, engineering, and procurement teams to develop competitive bids while ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
This role is ideal for professionals experienced in CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Perimeter Security, and Telecommunications systems.
Key Responsibilities
Tender & Estimation:
- Review tender documents, technical specifications, and project drawings (IFC, As-built).
- Prepare detailed BOQs, material take-offs, and cost estimates for security and low-current systems.
- Develop competitive project budgets and pricing strategies.
- Perform load calculations and backup power sizing for system infrastructure.
System Design & Technical Proposal:
- Prepare system designs and markups for:
- CCTV & Video Surveillance Systems
- Access Control Systems
- Intrusion Detection Systems
- Gate & Perimeter Security Systems
- Public Address & Communication Systems
- Telecommunication & Radio Systems
- Ensure solutions comply with client technical standards and project specifications.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
- Source technical quotations from vendors and manufacturers.
- Evaluate products and select approved system brands based on project requirements.
Pre-Sales Support:
- Provide technical support during bidding and tendering phases.
- Prepare technical submittals, compliance statements, and proposal documentation.
Collaboration:
- Work with sales, engineering, procurement, and project teams to deliver accurate bids and solutions.
- Participate in technical meetings, clarifications, and bid reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Telecommunications.
- 25 years of experience in Security System Estimation, ELV Estimation, or Pre-Sales Engineering.

- Axis, Pelco, Dahua, Hikvision, Milestone, Genetec, FLIR, Nedap, Lenel, Smith Detection, Rapiscan.
- Knowledge of international security standards or major industrial client requirements is an advantage.
