Security & Privacy Consultant

We are seeking a Security & Privacy Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping clients safeguard their data and maintain compliance with privacy regulations. The role involves conducting assessments, developing security policies, and providing training to ensure best practices in data protection.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security and privacy assessments for clients to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect sensitive information.
• Provide recommendations for improving data protection and privacy practices.
• Assist clients in complying with relevant regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and local laws.
• Conduct training and awareness programs for employees on security and privacy best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security and privacy concerns.
• Perform regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to security protocols.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-6 years of experience in security and privacy consulting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of information security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
• Experience with data protection regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
• Knowledge of security technologies and tools (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.
