Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Security Operations & Surveillance

  • Supervise and monitor security staff assignments and daily operations.
  • Conduct regular physical patrolling of critical areas including ingress/egress points, elevators, and common areas.
  • Monitor CCTV systems, access control systems, alarms, and other surveillance equipment.
  • Control building access and ensure proper visitor management procedures.

Emergency Response & Crisis Management

  • Act as first responder during emergencies (fire, evacuation, medical incidents, human crisis).
  • Coordinate with tenants, property management, and emergency services for swift response and evacuation.
  • Ensure injured individuals are transported safely to medical facilities.
  • Support development and execution of disaster management plans.
  • Conduct weekly fire and emergency drills for staff.

Team Management & Training

  • Supervise, train, and mentor security staff on procedures, safety protocols, and customer service.
  • Conduct performance and behavior monitoring of contract staff.
  • Manage staffing schedules, manpower allocation, and training compliance.
  • Approve hiring and participate in interviews for contract security personnel.

Security Planning & Risk Management

  • Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure preventive measures are in place.
  • Maintain updated security manuals, checklists, and SOPs.
  • Ensure compliance with fire safety codes and building security regulations.

Incident Management & Reporting

  • Conduct security investigations and prepare incident reports with root cause analysis.
  • Maintain records of lost and found items and material movement tracking.
  • Review after-hours reports and ensure timely escalation of issues.
  • Maintain regular communication with property managers and stakeholders regarding incidents and recommendations.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Conduct weekly meetings with security vendors and share MOMs with management and clients.
  • Coordinate with property management for staffing needs, events, and security requirements.
  • Ensure customer-facing staff receive appropriate briefings and training.

Administrative & Compliance Duties

  • Maintain manpower records for on-roll and contract staff including training and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to staffing schedules and security deployment plans.
  • Assist in budgeting and cost management for security operations.
