We are actively seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Security L3 Engineer to join our client's team through Acme Services. This pivotal role requires strong expertise in a diverse range of security technologies, including Palo Alto, Juniper SRX, Fortigate, McAfee IDS/IPS, Zscaler, Akamai WAF, and Cisco Ironport. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing advanced-level support, troubleshooting complex security incidents, and implementing robust security solutions to protect the organization's infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Security System Management: Lead the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various security platforms, demonstrating strong expertise in Palo Alto, Juniper SRX, and Fortigate firewalls.
- Threat Detection & Prevention: Manage and optimize McAfee IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems) to detect and prevent sophisticated cyber threats.
- Cloud & Web Security: Implement and manage cloud security solutions using Zscaler and deploy robust web application security with Akamai WAF (Web Application Firewall).
- Email Security: Oversee and maintain email security posture using Cisco Ironport to protect against email-borne threats.
- Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Provide L3 level support for complex security incidents, conducting in-depth analysis and leading remediation efforts.
- Security Architecture & Best Practices: Contribute to the design and implementation of secure network architectures and ensure adherence to security best practices.
Skills
- Strong expertise in Palo Alto, Juniper SRX, and Fortigate firewalls.
- Proficiency with McAfee IDS/IPS.
- Hands-on experience with Zscaler for cloud security.
- Expertise in Akamai WAF for web application security.
- Knowledge and experience with Cisco Ironport for email security.
- Proven ability to provide L3 level support and troubleshoot complex security issues.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and protocols.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
