Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Security Consultant specializing in Data Security, you will help client IT and business executives understand Data Security issues, risks, exposures, and vulnerabilities. You will provide consulting services to analyze and resolve security incidents and support clients in achieving a superior security posture. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Analyze Security Issues: Conduct interviews, workshops, and assessments to identify Data Security issues, risks, exposures, and vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop Security Strategies: Apply security principles and knowledge of Data security technologies, maturity models, and best practices to define business drivers and develop associated data security strategy, programs, incident response plans, and remediation recommendations and roadmaps.
- Resolve Security Incidents: Provide consulting services to analyze and resolve security incidents, and support clients in achieving a superior security posture.
- Deliver Security Solutions: Collaborate with clients to implement data security solutions, and ensure alignment with industry best practices and standards.
- Provide Expert Guidance: Offer expert guidance and support to clients on data security matters, and help them make informed decisions about their security posture.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Exposure to Data Security Technologies: Familiarity with data security technologies, including their application and implementation in various environments.
- Knowledge of Maturity Models: Understanding of data security maturity models and best practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in assessing and improving client security postures.
- Experience with Security Assessments: Exposure to conducting interviews, workshops, and assessments to identify data security issues, risks, exposures, and vulnerabilities.
- Understanding of Incident Response: Familiarity with incident response plans and remediation recommendations, with the ability to analyze and resolve security incidents.
- Application of Security Principles: Ability to apply security principles in defining business drivers and developing associated data security strategies and programs.
