The quality of school education available to students from low-income communities across India is abysmal.Their chances of attending college, or building a career are significantly lower than their high-income peers, condemning them to a life without voice or choice. iTeach was born in 2015 to challenge this status quo and create a level playing field for ALL children.

Key Responsibilities
A teacher at iTeach Schools wears multiple hats to ensure an excellent education for their students. The three different parts of the role are:
Teaching your subject (60% time)
- Teach one or two subjects of your expertise to your class
- Conduct regular tests and assessments to monitor learning and give feedback to students
- Build a positive and strong school culture with a focus on learning and joy
- Collaborate with parents of the students through regular meetings to ensure their active involvement
Mentoring students (20% time)
- Mentor nearly 15-20 students throughout the year
- Develop ways to ensure that these students have strong study habits, high attendance, and the drive to excel - share these plans with all teachers across the ecosystem
Help with school projects (20% time)
- Collaborate with Senior Teachers to implement school projects such as Hobby Clubs, Career Awareness, Annual Day, Sports Day, etc
- Use these opportunities to strengthen your leadership skills and mentor new teachers
Prerequisites
- Required: Bachelor's Degree with strong academic and holistic performance.
- Preferred: Art Teacher Diploma(ATD) / Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) / GD Arts.
- Preferred: Teaching experience in a school for 1-2 years.
Compensation and Benefits: We take pride in offering competitive compensation and benefits commensurate with the candidate's education and work experience. The salary range for this position ranges from 36k - 50k PM (CTC), and we are dedicated to providing top-notch industry benefits.
