This role is targeted to search marketing authorities formed into self-organizing industry-focused pods that focus on strategizing the digital components of prioritized demand generation and awareness campaigns. Deeply understanding current digital marketing capabilities and curious to explore and learn about newly emerging capabilities. Understand and advocate the buyer's journey and LAER (Land Adopt Expand Renew) model. You take ownership and responsibility for coming together with the other Search specialists and Marketing specialists on multiple channels to represent one or two industries on a consistent, strategic path toward growing our demand generation and awareness based on team targets. You work with the Industry Strategy, Marketing, and Execution teams to align priority and process. You are agile and constantly look to improve the predictability and quality of your internal customers.
About The Role
We are seeking a Search Marketing Specialist to join our Global Demand Center team in India. In this role, you will lead and optimize both paid (SEM) and organic (SEO) search programs, driving measurable impact on web traffic, lead generation, and overall demand creation. We count on you to turn data into actionable insights and strategies that deliver strong performance.
You bring deep expertise in search marketing, strong analytical thinking, and a hands-on approach to campaign execution. You thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, where you work closely with multiple teams to align on shared goals and deliver results.
You stay up to date with the latest search trends, including Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI-driven search experiences, and you actively apply new takeaways to improve outcomes. Key Responsibilities
SEM & Paid Search
- Plan, implement, and optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising (Bing), and other relevant platforms.
- Lead campaign types including Search Text Ads, Remarketing, YouTube Ads, Performance Max (P. Max), and Display/Banner campaigns.
- Own keyword research and bid strategy to improve ROI and align with business acquisition goals.
- Develop and test high-performing ad copy, creatives, landing pages, and calls to action through structured A/B testing.
- Supervise budget utilization, spending pace, and critical metric tracking across all paid search accounts.
GEO and Organic Search
- Drive organic search strategy including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO across assigned industry verticals.
- Maintain and optimize a prioritized list of business-critical keywords tied to web traffic and acquisition targets.
- Track and report on AI discoverability, Traffic, Google Core Web Vitals and other site health metrics for assigned industry pages.
- Collaborate with the Digital Platforms Content Production & Optimization team on SEO standard methodologies and content alignment.
- Stay current with and apply emerging GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) concepts to future-proof organic visibility in AI-driven search environments.
Analytics, Reporting & Insights
- Report on organic and paid search performance, translating sophisticated data into clear, actionable insights for collaborators and leadership.
- Partner with Global Operations, Data Analytics, and Automation teams to ensure end-to-end analytics and tracking are fully functional.
- Regularly present search performance reviews and recommendations for your campaigns and programs.
- Simplify sophisticated search strategies for non-technical audiences and drive data literacy across teams.
Strategy & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the voice of Search strategy — educate, train, and build agreement with internal collaborators and cross-functional teams.
- Align with Social Acquisition, E-commerce, Events, Branding, and Derivative Content teams to deliver a unified acquisition strategy.
- Support and enhance the remarketing strategy through search-based cultivate tactics, ensuring alignment with broader marketing models.
- Collaborate with search vendors and agency partners to ensure campaign quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and recommend new tools, platforms, and technologies that can elevate the Search team's capabilities and efficiency.
- Support regional zone operations for your assigned industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, Business, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in search marketing, including both paid search (SEM) and organic search (SEO/GEO).
- Minimum 5 years of experience running and handling digital ad campaigns with a strong understanding of analytics, attribution, and conversion tracking.
- Proven 3 years experience in handling search accounts and being responsible for substantial advertising budgets.
- Shown success in leading campaign performance and optimizing for engagement, conversion rates, and cost efficiency.
- Proficiency with Google Ads, Amplitude, Google Analytics (GA4), Microsoft Advertising, and other relevant SEM/SEO platforms and tools.
- Validated understanding of the B2B buyer's journey and digital demand generation strategies.
- Understanding of Account Base Marketing (ABM) Strategies to collaborate within the team.
