Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist based in Delhi, India. The SEO Specialist will oversee day-to-day tasks including keyword research, performing SEO audits, executing link-building strategies, analyzing web performance metrics, and optimizing on-page SEO. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance site visibility and drive organic traffic growth.

Website Health & Speed: Perform daily audits to ensure the WooCommerce store is running at peak speed. You are responsible for fixing broken links, optimizing heavy images, and ensuring the site passes Google's Core Web Vitals (loading time < 2 seconds).

Product & Category Optimization: Write and update product titles, meta descriptions, and slugs using keywords that have high buying intent. Content & Keyword Strategy: Identify exactly what our customers are searching for. You will create and manage a content calendar for the blog and category pages to capture traffic that we aren't currently reaching with ads.

Authority & Link Building: Reach out to bloggers, news sites, and industry directories to get high-quality backlinks to our store. You will focus on building the brand's reputation so Google views us as a trusted leader in our niche.

Technical Troubleshooting: Work directly within the WooCommerce backend to manage SEO plugins (like RankMath or Yoast) and ensure our XML sitemaps and robots.txt files are guiding Google's bots correctly.

Local Market Dominance: Manage our Google Business Profile and local citations to ensure we dominate near me searches in Delhi/Rohini.

Performance Tracking: Provide weekly reports using Google Search Console and GA4. You must be able to explain why traffic went up or down and provide a plan to fix any drops in ranking.

Competitor Spying: Constantly monitor what our competitors are doing, which keywords they are winning and which sites are linking to them and create a plan to outperform them.

Requirements (The Must-Haves)

Woo Commerce: You must be comfortable navigating the WordPress/WooCommerce backend.

Analytical Mindset: You don't just do SEO; you look at data to see what is actually working.

Location: You must be able to work out of our Rohini office daily.
