The Role:

As our Senior SEO and AEO Specialist, you will own Darwinbox's organic growth across traditional search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms.

This role goes beyond rankings. You will be responsible for ensuring Darwinbox is discoverable in Search Engines and SERPs, is referenced and surfaced in AI-generated answers (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, etc.), and is recognized as a trusted entity and category authority in the global HR tech ecosystem

You'll work closely with Content, Product Marketing, and Growth teams to build long-term organic demand, influence pipelines, and establish Darwinbox as the definitive voice for enterprise HR transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

SEO

  • Own and execute Darwinbox's global SEO strategy across product pages, solution pages, blog articles, resources, and comparison pages.
  • Conduct ICP-aligned keyword research across different regions/countries and company size segments.
  • Drive on-page, off-page, and technical SEO excellence, including site structure, internal linking, crawlability, Core Web Vitals, and indexation.
  • Build scalable SEO frameworks and playbooks that can be adopted across teams and regions.
  • Collaborate with Content and PMM to build high-intent, product-led, and category-led content that supports long sales cycles.

AEO / GEO (Answer & Generative Engine Optimization)

  • Design and execute an AEO strategy to improve Darwinbox's visibility in AI-powered search and answer engines.
  • Optimize content for answer retrieval, citations, and summarization by LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, etc.).
  • Build and maintain topical authority through entity-based SEO, semantic search optimization, and structured content.
  • Partner with Content teams to create AI-friendly formats (FAQs, explainers, definitions, comparisons, use cases).
  • Implement and manage structured data, schema, and entity signals to strengthen Darwinbox's knowledge graph presence.
  • Track and analyze how Darwinbox appears in AI-generated responses and identify gaps vs competitors.

Key Requirements:

  • 46 years of hands-on experience in SEO for B2B SaaS
  • Strong understanding of modern SEO fundamentals, including technical SEO and content-led growth
  • Demonstrated curiosity and working knowledge of AEO / GEO, AI search behavior, and semantic SEO
  • Experience collaborating with content, PMM, and web teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort in SEO tools, analytics platforms, and experimentation
