Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist. The SEO Specialist will plan, execute, and optimize SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, improve search visibility, and support lead generation for 10x10 Booths. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting keyword research, performing technical and content-focused SEO audits, optimizing on-page elements, and collaborating with content and design teams to align web pages with SEO best practices. The role also involves managing link-building initiatives, monitoring performance in analytics tools, and generating regular reports with actionable recommendations. The SEO Specialist will stay current on search engine algorithm updates and industry trends to continually refine and improve SEO performance.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in keyword research and on-page SEO to optimize content, metadata, site structure, and user experience.
• Hands-on experience conducting comprehensive SEO audits, identifying technical and content issues, and implementing fixes.
• Demonstrated skills in link building, including outreach, evaluating backlink quality, and maintaining a healthy link profile.
• Ability to use web analytics and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar) to track performance and inform strategy.
• Solid understanding of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and how SEO integrates with content marketing and paid media.
• Experience working with CMS platforms (such as WordPress or similar) and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for SEO-related updates.
• AI Search and Emerging Channels: Stay ahead of how AI search is evolving across platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. Apply Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) principles to ensure our content is visible wherever buyers are searching, not just on traditional Google results.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in B2B or event/exhibition marketing is a plus.
