Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Specialist at damnZgood is a full-time, on-site role based in Amritsar. This role is responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies that increase organic traffic, improve search rankings, and enhance overall website performance for client projects. Day-to-day tasks include conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, optimizing on-page elements, analyzing web metrics, and identifying opportunities for technical and content improvements. The specialist will collaborate with content, design, and development teams to implement best practices, monitor campaign performance, and deliver clear reports and recommendations. The role also involves staying current with search engine algorithm updates, industry trends, and emerging tools to continuously refine SEO strategies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO to identify opportunities and optimize website content and structure.
- Candidates should possess skills in SEO Audits and Web Analytics to assess site health, track performance, and inform data-driven decisions.
- Candidates should possess experience in Link Building to develop ethical, high-quality backlink strategies that support long-term ranking growth.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with major search engines and SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar).
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to interpret data into actionable insights.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and explain SEO priorities clearly.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
- Experience in digital marketing, content strategy, technical SEO, and familiarity with HTML/CSS or CMS platforms (such as WordPress or Shopify) is an advantage.
