Search Engine Optimization Manager

About the role

We are looking for a results-driven SEO Manager to lead SEO strategies, improve organic search performance, and manage a team of SEO professionals. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in technical, on-page, off-page, and local SEO, along with proven experience in team management, strategy development, client/project management, and performance analysis. 

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic rankings, traffic, and conversions.
• Manage, mentor, and guide the SEO team, including task allocation and performance tracking.
• Conduct keyword research and oversee on-page, off-page, technical, and local SEO activities.
• Conduct website audits and identify issues related to crawling, indexing, site speed, broken links, and duplicate content.
• Plan and oversee effective link-building and content optimization strategies.
• Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and SEO performance using relevant tools.
• Analyze competitors and identify opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with content and development teams to implement SEO best practices.
• Review team deliverables and ensure quality and timely execution.
• Prepare SEO performance reports and provide actionable recommendations.
• Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of SEO experience, with 1+ year in a team lead/managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of On-Page, Off-Page, Technical, and Local SEO.
• Proficiency in Google Search Console, Google Analytics/GA4, and SEO/keyword research tools.
• Experience managing multiple websites/projects, preferably in an agency environment.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO techniques, algorithms, and best practices.
• Ability to manage team performance and meet project deadlines.
