Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive SEO Executive to drive organic traffic, improve AI search visibility, and grow audience engagement across search engines, answer engines, and social media platforms. The role will work closely with the editorial team to ensure maximum reach and discoverability of SME Futures content.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic traffic, keyword rankings, and website performance.
- Conduct keyword research, content optimization, competitor analysis, and technical SEO audits.
- Optimize content for Google Search, Google News, Google Discover, featured snippets, and AI-powered search platforms.
- Implement GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies to improve visibility across ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Perplexity, and other answer engines.
- Work with the editorial team to build topical authority, content clusters, and E-E-A-T signals.
- Monitor and analyze performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and related tools.
- Manage and publish content across LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Create engaging social media copy and content distribution plans for stories, interviews, newsletters, and special projects.
- Track audience growth, referral traffic, engagement metrics, and content performance.
- Provide regular reports and actionable recommendations to improve reach and audience acquisition.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or audience growth.
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Knowledge of GEO, AI search, semantic search, and content optimization.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and WordPress.
- Experience managing social media platforms and content distribution.
- Strong analytical, communication, and content optimization skills.
- Experience in digital publishing, media, or content-driven organizations will be preferred.
