Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Executive.

The SEO Executive will be responsible for driving organic traffic growth, improving search rankings, and enhancing overall website performance. This role requires a balance of technical SEO, content strategy, and performance analysis to build sustainable search visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research aligned with search intent, business goals, and travel-specific trends
  • Plan and execute on-page SEO strategies including content optimization, internal linking, and metadata improvements
  • Perform technical SEO audits (crawlability, indexing, site structure, Core Web Vitals, schema implementation) and work with developers to resolve issues
  • Develop and execute content strategies to build topical authority (blogs, landing pages, destination pages)
  • Execute link-building strategies including outreach, partnerships, and digital PR
  • Optimize and manage local SEO, including Google Business Profile and local listings
  • Monitor and analyze performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
  • Track and report on key metrics including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversions
  • Conduct competitor analysis and identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with content and social media teams to ensure consistent brand visibility and SEO alignment
  • Continuously test and improve landing pages for better conversion rates (CRO)

Qualifications

  • 0.6 2 years of hands-on experience in SEO
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles
  • Proven ability to improve rankings, traffic, or organic performance (portfolio or examples preferred)
  • Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and basic HTML understanding
  • Knowledge of search intent, SERP analysis, and content planning
  • Understanding of link-building best practices (white-hat only)
  • Basic understanding of social media's role in SEO and content amplification
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus
