Search Engine Optimization Consultant

We are a new and upcoming product-based company in God's Own Country Kerala, looking to bring the latest in technology to provide novel solutions to existing problems.

We are looking for a data-driven SEO Consultant & Content Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SEO strategy, content writing, and WordPress implementation. You should be able to conduct in-depth keyword research, analyze performance metrics, and create high-quality, optimized content that drives traffic and conversions.

Please note this opening is only for candidates currently located in Kerala, ideally in Ernakulam. Even though we're completely remote, we want to be able to see each other once in a while and feel connected beyond work.

What you'll be doing:

• Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and search visibility.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and on-page optimization to enhance website performance.
• Write, edit, and optimize SEO-friendly content, including blog posts, landing pages, and website copy.
• Implement technical SEO best practices and make hands-on updates in WordPress (meta tags, structured data, internal linking, etc.).
• Analyze website traffic, rankings, and conversions using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools.
• Conduct thorough market and industry research to identify new growth opportunities.
• Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, industry trends, and emerging SEO techniques.

What you'll need:

• Proven experience in SEO strategy, keyword research, and content writing.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress, Yoast SEO, Rank Math, or similar SEO plugins.
• Ability to write compelling, well-structured, and engaging content optimized for search engines.
• Analytical mindset with experience in using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
• Understanding of technical SEO, including site speed optimization, schema markup, and mobile-friendliness.
• Strong research skills to analyze competitors and market trends.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

Nice to have:

• Experience with local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization.
• Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for minor website adjustments.
