SDP/AIR Business Configuration Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an SDP/AIR Business Configuration Engineer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in the BSS domain. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong ownership in ensuring high-availability services, aligned with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The role requires excellent coordination, analytical thinking, and technical troubleshooting skills, along with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders across multiple domains.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze complex business and product requirements from customers, and propose scalable, compliant solutions within the existing system architecture

and execute daily operational tasks. Feasibility analysis of New Requirement from Different Channels of Customer.

Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents, support problem management, and implement proactive fixes to avoid recurrence

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployments, Planning, UAT, and GTM of Charging Products.

Manage reporting and escalation of service issues to ensure resolution, minimize disruptions, and meet compliance.

Key Skills & Expertise:

1.)Strong knowledge in SDP/AIR Business Configuration

2.)Expertise in Charging Call Flows

3.)Hands-on experience with Diameter Protocols

4.)Proficiency in Gx, Gy, Sy Interfaces

5.)Solid background in Functional Testing

6.)Wireshark and SDP/AIR trace analysis

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the Telecom BSS domain, particularly in Charging Systems

Deep understanding of real-time charging principles, service logic, and prepaid/postpaid modality

Basic knowledge of the latest inventions and technology evolution in the telecom industry

Proven experience in handling managed services environments and customer operations

Proficiency in troubleshooting across multiple domains and platforms

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
