Job Title: SDET / Automation Test Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and skilled SDET with 23 years of experiencejoining our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, writing, and maintaining robust test automation scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will work at the intersection of development and quality, building automated solutions that validate product reliability, performance, and scalability across every release.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Automation: Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and database layers using frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Low-code/No-code.

Frameworks: Contribute to the development and enhancement of test automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, BDD).

API Testing: Create and execute automated API tests using tools like Postman, Rest Assured.

Agile Participation: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives).

Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product owners, and manual QA teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.

Defect Management: Identify, document, track, and verify defects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Programming: Strong proficiency in Java or Python, or TypeScript.

Hands-on experience:on Selenium or Playwright or Cypress or Appium

API Tools:Familiarity with Postman.

Databases: Good understanding of SQL for backend validation.

Version Control: Familiarity with Git

Methodologies: Solid grasp of Agile/Scrum principles and SDLC.

Soft Skills: Good communication, Client-handling
