Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation frameworks using Python
• Write robust, scalable, and reusable test scripts for UI and APIs
• Perform API testing (REST/JSON) using tools like Postman, Pytest, Requests
• Develop and execute automated test cases across different layers (UI, API, DB)
• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions)
• Perform test data validation using SQL
• Collaborate with developers to ensure shift-left testing approach
• Identify, log, and track defects and ensure closure
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)

Required Skills

• Strong programming experience in Python
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Pytest / Robot Framework / Behave)
• Strong knowledge of API testing (REST APIs, JSON, HTTP protocols)
• Experience in UI automation (Selenium with Python)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Experience with version control (Git)
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies
• Good debugging and analytical skills
