Description
We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and testing, with a passion for quality assurance and automation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts
- Design and implement test plans and test cases
- Perform code reviews and provide feedback to developers
- Identify, record, and track bugs in the system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Continuously improve test processes and methodologies
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-6 years of experience in Software Development or Testing
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python
- Strong knowledge of testing frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or SOAP UI
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools like Jenkins
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
