We are looking for a strong SDET/Test Automation Engineer with 3-5 years of experience who can build and scale automation frameworks, write production-quality test code, and take end-to-end ownership of product quality. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure reliability across complex AI and video-processing systems. This is not a manual QA role.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing.
- Develop UI automation using Cypress (mandatory); Playwright or Selenium is a plus.
- Build and maintain API automation.
- Improve test stability, execution speed, and maintainability.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket).
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to enable shift-left testing.
- Participate in defect triage and root-cause analysis.
- Mentor junior team members and drive testing best practices.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in test automation/SDET roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Cypress and experience in API testing.
- Solid understanding of automation frameworks and testing best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Basic understanding of networking and distributed systems. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Good To Have
- Experience with Python.
- Exposure to Playwright or Selenium.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure.
- Experience testing media, video, or AI/ML-based systems.
