Automation & QA Engineer II (SDET II)

What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end quality assurance for products from feature development to production release.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test suites.
- Build automated UI, API, and regression test suites.
- Collaborate with engineers during feature development to improve testability and product quality.
- Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation strategies.
- Identify, reproduce, and track defects while working closely with engineering teams to resolve them.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and release activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in testing practices, automation coverage, and engineering quality.
- Perform performance, regression, and exploratory testing where required.
- Drive quality as a shared engineering responsibility.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and SDLC/STLC.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Pytest.
- Good programming skills in Python.
- Experience testing REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
- Basic understanding of Docker, AWS, and cloud-native applications.
- Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, LoadRunner, or Locust.
- Awareness of GenAI applications in software testing is a plus.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have
- Experience working in Agile teams.
- Exposure to fintech or API products.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing.
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
