About the Role

CloudSEK is looking for a passionate and highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test II (SDET II) with strong expertise in test automation and AI/ML quality assurance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable automation frameworks, validating AI-powered applications, and ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of next-generation cybersecurity products.

As an SDET II, you will work closely with engineering, product, and AI/ML teams to automate testing across web applications, APIs, and machine learning systems while contributing to continuous quality improvements.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python, Playwright, and Pytest.
Build and execute automated test suites for Web UI, REST APIs, and backend services.
Validate AI/ML features, including LLM-based workflows, prompt responses, RAG pipelines, and inference APIs.
Design test cases to evaluate accuracy, precision, recall, hallucinations, latency, and consistency of AI models.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for cloud-native applications.
Develop reusable automation libraries and utilities to improve framework efficiency and maintainability.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins).
Execute API testing using Postman, Playwright API, or Python Requests.
Analyze failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers for timely issue resolution.
Create meaningful automation reports, dashboards, and quality metrics.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to improving product quality and release readiness.
Mentor junior engineers and promote automation best practices across the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in Software Testing or SDET with strong automation expertise.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Hands-on experience with Playwright (preferred) or Selenium.
Experience with Pytest and automation framework development.
Strong understanding of API automation and REST services.
Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and defect lifecycle.
Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience testing AI/ML applications, Generative AI, or LLM-powered features.
Knowledge of Prompt Engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and AI evaluation metrics.
Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LangFuse, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
Experience validating LLM outputs using metrics such as:
