Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Java and microservices architecture to build scalable backend platforms supporting high traffic and transaction volumes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop high-performance REST APIs.
- Participate in architecture discussions and system design.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Optimize database queries and system performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs and distributed systems.
- Experience with message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Good understanding of database design and optimization.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
Good to Have
- Experience with event-driven architecture.
- Exposure to high scale e-commerce systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong command of the English language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
