SDE III

We are seeking a talented, motivated, and responsible Software Development Engineer 3 (SDE-3) to join our dynamic engineering team. As an SDE-3, you will be responsible for developing end-to-end new features for the platform. You will be dealing with multiple subsystems and web services. Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop: Design, implement, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code using Go, Java, Node.js, and Python.
• Architecture and Scalability: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for backend architecture and system scalability.
• Database Management: Work with various databases, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity in order to deliver high performance backend solutions.
• API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs in a micro-services architecture, ensuring seamless integration with other micro-services and front-end applications.
• Code Review: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and mentor junior developers.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the backend applications.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for the backend codebase and APIs

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. (A master's degree is a plus) from a Tier 1 college.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer with a Product based company.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in at least one programming language among Go, Java, NodeJs and Python.
• Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of best practices for code optimization and security.
• Having knowledge of Kubernetes and container based deployments
• Collaboration and Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Problem Solving: Proven ability to analyze complex technical problems and propose practical solutions.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Ownership: Demonstrated a sense of ownership and accountability for project deliverables
