Role Overview: As a SDE-II / Sr. Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the robust backend services that drive our fintech ecosystem. You will act as a bridge between complex financial logic and seamless user experiences, working closely with Product, Data, and Frontend teams to ship mission-critical solutions.

Location: Gurugram, Haryana

Experience: 4 yrs.+

Annual Remuneration: Up to INR 16 LPA. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, domain expertise, and assessment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Design: Architect and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.
• API Development: Build and maintain high-concurrency RESTful APIs and microservices using Java-based technologies.
• DevOps & Infrastructure: Write and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment cycles.
• Containerization: Leverage hands-on experience with Docker to containerize services and streamline development-to-production workflows.
• Performance Engineering: Optimize applications for maximum speed and reliability, ensuring the platform can handle peak transaction loads.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high code quality through rigorous testing, peer code reviews, and adherence to SOLID principles.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems while contributing to database design and performance tuning.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Core Expertise: Deep proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).
• Architecture: Strong experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Database Mastery: Solid understanding of RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Infrastructure: Proficiency with Docker and modern CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
• Cloud: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is highly preferred.

Preferred Background:

• Prior experience in Fintech, Payments, Lending, or BNPL ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of financial systems, transaction atomicity, and compliance requirements.
