Position: SDE I

Overview: We are looking for a Software Development Engineer I (SDE I) with strong backend engineering expertise to build scalable, high-performance systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Node.js-based architectures, databases, caching systems, and search technologies, and will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining core backend services.

This role is suited for engineers who can work independently, take ownership of modules, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

What you will do:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js.

Build and optimize APIs and backend systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.

Work extensively with databases such as MongoDB and SQL

Implement caching and data optimization strategies using Redis.

Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and system stability.

Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Troubleshoot production issues and drive long-term fixes.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

What we are looking for:

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Node.js development.

Strong knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, Redis, and Unit Testing.

Experience building scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.

Good-to-Have Skills

Knowledge of React.js.

Knowledge of Angular.

Experience with Neo4j or graph databases.
