Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to drive Agile excellence across multiple product teams. This role involves coaching teams, enabling high-performance delivery, and ensuring Agile practices are effectively implemented to support large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Facilitation & Delivery
- Lead Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Ensure ceremonies are structured, outcome-driven, and time-bound
- Adapt facilitation for hybrid and cross-regional teams
- Promote transparency through metrics, dashboards, and communication
Coaching & Team Enablement
- Coach teams on Agile principles, Lean thinking, and self-organization
- Mentor Product Owners on backlog refinement and prioritization
- Ensure teams consistently meet Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD)
- Build a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and learning
Impediment Management & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and remove blockers impacting delivery velocity
- Facilitate problem-solving sessions and retrospectives
- Drive Kaizen initiatives and process improvements
- Protect teams from external disruptions and scope creep
Stakeholder & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering Leads
- Manage inter-team dependencies across multiple pods
- Communicate progress, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders
- Integrate vendor and partner teams into Agile delivery
Agile Governance & Metrics
- Champion Agile best practices and scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, etc.)
- Contribute to enterprise-level Agile standards and communities of practice
- Use tools like JIRA and Confluence to track delivery and improve visibility
- Leverage data-driven insights (velocity, cycle time, predictability) for improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
- 7+ years of experience with 3+ years as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
- Experience managing multiple Agile teams/pods in complex environments
- Strong expertise in Agile at Scale frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, etc.)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM II/III, or equivalent)
- Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous delivery models
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare or life sciences domain
- Strong understanding of metrics-driven Agile delivery and governance
