We are looking for a Scrum Master to enable high-performing, cross-functional teams to deliver AI products and features with speed, quality, and predictability.
Role Overview
As a Scrum Master at Scry AI, you will be responsible for driving Agile practices across one or more product teams. You will facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, improve team collaboration, and ensure that delivery is aligned to business priorities. This role demands strong facilitation skills, a servant-leadership mindset, and the ability to coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Facilitation and Delivery
- Plan and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Work with product owners to ensure backlogs are well-groomed, prioritized, and ready for execution
- Track sprint progress, manage scope, and help teams commit realistically while meeting delivery goals
Team Coaching and Continuous Improvement
- Coach team members, product owners, and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum best practices
- Identify and resolve delivery bottlenecks, conflicts, and dependencies across teams
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by using retrospectives and metrics to drive change
Stakeholder Communication and Alignment
- Provide clear, timely communication on sprint status, risks, and dependencies to leadership and stakeholders
- Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and design to align on goals, timelines, and expectations
- Help translate business priorities into achievable sprint goals and release plans
Metrics, Process, and Governance
- Define and track key delivery metrics such as velocity, burndown, and cycle time
- Ensure teams adhere to agreed processes, tools, and quality standards
- Support release planning and coordination across multiple teams or workstreams as needed
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or similar role in a SaaS or enterprise software environment
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Agile frameworks
- Experience working with tools like Jira, ClickUp, Azure DevOps, or similar project management platforms
- Proven ability to facilitate group discussions, resolve conflicts, and drive decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is a plus
