Scrum Master -Salesforce

Job Summary

We are seeking a Scrum Master / Project Manager to lead Agile delivery teams and ensure successful execution of projects through effective planning, coordination, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to deliver complex technology solutions in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves acting as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator for the delivery team, while also managing project scope, budget, and timelines using a hybrid (Agile + traditional PM) approach where needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Agile Delivery Leadership

Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives)

Guide and coach teams on Agile principles, values, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement

Remove blockers and impediments to the team's progress and foster a culture of ownership and accountability

Coordinate sprint activities, backlog grooming, and ensure alignment between Product Owners, Developers, and QA teams

Project & Program Management

Manage project timelines, scope, risks, and deliverables, ensuring successful completion of projects on schedule and within budget

Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, and dashboards using tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar

Drive status reporting, executive presentations, and ensure transparent communication with all stakeholders

Oversee resource allocation, capacity planning, and cross-functional dependencies

Support financial tracking, forecasting, and project invoicing (where applicable)

Stakeholder & Communication Management

Collaborate closely with business sponsors, product owners, and technical leads to align on priorities and scope

Facilitate client meetings, sprint demos, retrospectives, and project steering committee sessions

Serve as the primary contact for project-level escalations, governance, and change management

Quality & Continuous Improvement

Promote adoption of Agile metrics (Velocity, Burndown, Cycle Time, etc.) to monitor and improve team performance

Lead retrospectives to identify process improvements and implement action plans

Champion best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile at scale (SAFe, LeSS, or hybrid models)

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Certifications:

Mandatory: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I or II)

Preferred: PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist (SA), or PRINCE2

8+ years of total experience in IT project delivery, with 3-5 years in an Agile Scrum Master / PM role

Proven experience managing cross-functional teams in distributed and global delivery environments

Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, SDLC, and Waterfall-to-Agile transformation practices

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar project management tools

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Salesforce, Cloud, or Digital Transformation projects

Exposure to DevOps automation and Agile at scale environments

Experience working with onshore/offshore models and managing vendor partners

Strong analytical, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities
