Project Overview
The Scrum Master will be part of the Systems team of the TA Solution Train, responsible for delivering cross-cutting common libraries that enable other capabilities to deliver business value.
Role & Responsibilities
- Guide and support cross-functional development teams in Agile practices.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, planning sessions, and retrospectives.
- Ensure smooth collaboration between software engineers, DevOps teams, and product owners.
- Promote continuous improvement, high-quality delivery, and adherence to Agile principles.
- Track and manage work progress using tools like Jira/Confluence.
- Remove impediments and foster a culture of accountability and transparency.
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile mindset and practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
- 10+ years of professional experience with 5+ years relevant as a Scrum Master.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Hands-on experience with SDLC, APIs, Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence (or similar).
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM) required.
Nice To Have Skills
- Experience with globally distributed teams.
- Background in software engineering or systems architecture.
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe, LeSS).
- Technical certifications (AWS, Azure, or other relevant).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
