Broad Function:We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our dynamic team; you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective project management practices and guiding the team towards successful project delivery. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project management methodologies, possess excellent leadership skills, and demonstrate a deep understanding of Scrum principles.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for onshore and offshore teams.
- Lead Agile ceremonies for onshore and offshore teams, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor the development team on project management methodologies to enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to define project scope, priorities, and deliverables.
- Assist in breaking down complex tasks into actionable components with clear acceptance criteria.
- Identify and eliminate impediments to team progress for successful sprint delivery.
- Monitor project progress, address impediments, and promote continuous improvement.
- Foster a collaborative team environment and promote knowledge sharing.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and project managers.
- Maintain project metrics for transparency and update progress charts, milestones, and team capacity.
- Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.
- Stay informed about industry trends to contribute to the improvement of project management practices.
- Coordinate effectively with onshore and offshore team members for alignment and collaboration.
- Monitor team performance metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
Desired Candidate profile:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager in a software development setting.
- Min 2 Years of exp required in Azure DevOps
- Knowledge on how to create and manage sprints dashboards projects boards etc.
- Proficient in project management methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Capable of collaborating effectively with geographically dispersed teams.
- Demonstrated success in delivering software projects using project management best practices.
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Skilled in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with stakeholders across all levels.
- Possession of Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Experience in coaching and guiding teams on project management best practices.
- Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA and Trello is advantageous.
