Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master with 10–12 years of overall IT experience and strong hands-on leadership in Agile/Scrum delivery. The ideal candidate will drive Agile maturity across teams, enable predictable delivery, remove impediments, and act as a servant leader while partnering closely with Product Owners, Engineering Leaders, and stakeholders across large-scale programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesAgile & Scrum Facilitation
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement
- Ensure Scrum framework is understood and consistently applied across teams
- Coach teams on Agile principles, values, and best practices
Program & Delivery Management
- Drive end-to-end sprint execution and ensure predictable, on-time delivery
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and impediments proactively
- Collaborate with Release Train Engineers / Program Managers in scaled Agile environments (SAFe / LeSS / Nexus)
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between Product Owners, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Business stakeholders
- Provide transparency on sprint progress, velocity, burn-downs, and delivery metrics
- Support Product Owners in backlog prioritization and refinement
Metrics & Reporting
- Track and report Agile metrics such as velocity, capacity, sprint burndown, cumulative flow, and release predictability
- Drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement
- Prepare leadership-ready dashboards and status reports
Coaching & Mentorship
- Coach Scrum Masters, team members, and leadership on Agile transformation
- Mentor junior Scrum Masters and guide teams toward self-organization
- Identify process improvement opportunities and institutionalize best practices
Continuous Improvement & Governance
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and quality
- Support Agile transformation initiatives and process governance
- Ensure compliance with enterprise Agile standards and delivery governance
Required Skills & ExperienceMandatory
- 10–12 years of overall IT experience with 6+ years as a Scrum Master
- Strong hands-on experience with Scrum, Kanban, and Agile development practices
- Experience handling multiple Agile teams in parallel
- Expertise with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Rally, or equivalent
- Proven experience in enterprise-scale or multi-team environments
Agile Certification (At least one preferred)
- CSM / PSM / SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) / SAFe Agilist
Good to Have
- Experience in SAFe or large-scale Agile transformations
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Cloud-based delivery models
- Domain experience in BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, Aerospace, or Enterprise Systems
- Hands-on experience working with distributed/global teams
