Scrum Master (CARE)

Key Responsibilities

Agile Facilitation

•    Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

•    Ensure Agile principles are understood and followed by the team.

•    Help the team set realistic sprint goals and maintain focus on delivering value.

Product & Business Understanding

•    Develop a deep understanding of the product, its business logic, and user workflows — operating at the level of a Product Owner.

•    Partner with the Product Owner to refine the backlog, clarify requirements, and prioritize features.

•    Identify gaps in requirements and proactively address them with stakeholders.

Collaboration & Communication

•    Serve as the bridge between business, product, and technical teams.

•    Facilitate clear communication across time zones and geographies, ensuring all team members are aligned.

•    Promote a culture of transparency, trust, and continuous improvement.

Technical Literacy

•    Understand system architecture and workflows at a high level to facilitate effective discussions.

•    Write and execute SQL queries to validate data, support analysis, or assist QA.

•    Leverage knowledge of databases, APIs, and infrastructure to help unblock the team when needed.

Continuous Improvement

•    Identify process bottlenecks and implement changes to improve delivery speed and quality.

•    Encourage the use of metrics (velocity, cycle time, defect rates) to track and improve performance.

•    Promote adoption of best practices in Agile, DevOps, and cross-functional collaboration.

Must Have Skills

•    5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile/Scrum environments, with excellent facilitation and conflict-resolution skills.

•    Strong verbal and written communication in English, with the ability to align cross-functional teams and drive delivery in distributed environments.

•    Solid understanding of Agile metrics, backlog management, and technical literacy (SQL, relational databases, system workflows).

•    Experience in SaaS or enterprise software delivery.

•    Familiarity with .NET, Angular, and Azure ecosystems.

•    Exposure to AI/ML-enabled products and their delivery challenges.

•    Scrum or Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe, LeSS).
