Job Description

Job Title: Scrum Master

Job Nature: Full time

Relevant Experience: 6-8 Years

Job Summary -

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to facilitate agile delivery across multiple cross-functional teams working on AI, data, cloud, and application modernization programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Agile principles are deeply embedded in the team's practices and that the team continuously improves its delivery efficiency and stakeholder value.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and Scrum best practices
  • Remove blockers and impediments, ensuring smooth sprint execution
  • Work with Product Owners to manage and prioritize backlogs
  • Track and report team velocity, burn-down/burn-up charts, and other key metrics
  • Ensure adherence to Agile KPIs and Definition of Done (DoD)
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and transparency
  • Coordinate across multiple scrum teams when necessary
  • Assist with release planning, cross-team dependencies, and integration timelines
  • Help teams adopt agile project management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Maintaining project documentation
  • Support the organization in Agile transformation or scaling initiatives

Skills -

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) or equivalent Agile certification
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (developers, testers, architects, BAs, DevOps)
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Servicenow
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile in data, AI/ML, or cloud-native programs
  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or enterprise IT transformation domains
  • Basic knowledge of Agile metrics, OKRs, and reporting frameworks

Soft Skills:

  • Empathetic, people-centric mindset
  • Adaptability and emotional intelligence
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Willingness to coach and grow Agile maturity across teams

Nice to have

Understanding of integrations of steel company knowledge works with IT tools (cloud, SAP, automation systems)

Industry Experience

Prior experience in IT Consulting, IT Services firms strongly preferred.

Work location

Hybrid work model, either Pune or Hyderabad

Notice period

  • Joining within 30-45 days

Time zone

  • Selected candidate is required to work as per India Time (IST) 90% of time / European Time (CET/GMT) 10% of time.
