We are seeking a highly experienced and certified Scrum Master to lead our agile development teams. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Scrum and Agile processes, combined with a strong technical background in Java development. This role requires excellent project management skills, the ability to work with geographically distributed teams, and a commitment to fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and support all scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure the team adheres to Scrum and Agile principles and practices.
- Guide and coach the team on how to get the most out of self-organization.
- Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove them.
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or judgment, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
- Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution within the team.
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Support the Product Owner in managing and grooming the product backlog.
- Possess hands-on programming experience with Core Java, SOAP, REST, UI Development, and MQTT to effectively understand technical challenges and discussions.
- Collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams, demonstrating strong communication and coordination skills.
- Apply proven project management experience to track progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery.
- Utilize strong Linux knowledge for development and deployment environments.
Skill Sets & Competencies:
- Strong understanding and practical application of Scrum Agile processes.
- Java certified professional.
- Hands-on programming experience in Core Java, SOAP, REST, UI Development, MQTT.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
- Proven project management experience.
- Proficient Linux knowledge.
Preferred (Additional Skills):
- Experience with OSGi framework.
- Knowledge of BIRT (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools).
- Experience with Message Oriented Middleware like ActiveMQ (MOM).
- Familiarity with ORM technologies such as Spring Hibernate.
- Experience working with German Teams is a plus.
