About the Role
Tutrain is hiring an experienced SCORM & LMS Specialist to manage our LMS, generate and deploy SCORM content, and support our fast-growing online learning operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, generate, test, troubleshoot, and upload SCORM files (using Storyline/Captivate/iSpring or similar)
- Manage and optimize LMS platforms (TalentLMS/Moodle or your recommended LMS)
- Build courses, learning paths, certifications, and competencies
- Manage users, roles, permissions, cohorts, and bulk enrollments
- Integrate LMS with CRM (HubSpot/Zoho), SSO (Google/Okta), Zoom/Webex, payment gateways, Zapier/webhooks, and analytics tools
- Develop custom reports and dashboards (LMS tools + Data Studio/Power BI)
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support via Slack, email, or ticket system
- Create documentation, SOPs, and internal training guides
- Support upcoming LMS migration (within next 6 months)
- Ensure GDPR/CCPA compliance and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility
- Suggest automation, UX improvements, and gamification enhancements
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years as an LMS Administrator/Specialist
- Strong SCORM (1.2/2004) implementation, debugging, and SCORM file generation expertise
- Experience with multiple LMS: Moodle, TalentLMS, Docebo, Absorb, LearnUpon, Canvas, Thinkific, etc.
- Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, and LTI 1.3
- Familiarity with REST APIs, SSO (SAML/OAuth), and webhooks
- Ability to write or modify SQL queries for reporting
- Strong troubleshooting and remote support skills
- Basic HTML/CSS/JS knowledge
- Excellent English communication; ability to work independently
Nice to Have
- Experience with ed-tech or corporate L&D
- Moodle/TalentLMS certification
- Experience with SCORM authoring tools (Storyline, Captivate, iSpring)
- LMS migration experience
- Basic instructional design knowledge
