Job Description

  • Experience with installation and administration of the SCOM (System Center Operations Manager) console
  • Proficient in application support and maintenance of monitoring and notification rules within SCOM
  • Ability to create, install, and manage custom Management Packs (MPs)
  • Strong understanding of SCOM console security, patch management, and role-based access
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for SCOM components and custom scripts
  • Experience in creating custom SCOM reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Skilled in Microsoft PowerShell scripting for task automation within SCOM
  • Solid understanding of application/network performance and availability monitoring
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for documentation and user training
  • Willingness to be on-call for support and issue resolution
