Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Engineer with 0 to 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of high quality software products by conducting thorough testing and collaborating with the development team to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand software requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify software defects.
- Report and track bugs, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand project objectives and timelines.
- Conduct regression, performance, and usability testing to ensure software meets user needs.
- Document testing processes and results for future reference.
- Continuously update skills and stay informed about emerging QA trends and tools.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of manual testing concepts and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, JMeter, or similar (preferred).
- Understanding of bug tracking systems and tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Skills
- Basic programming knowledge in languages like Java, Python, or C#.
