School health teachers

• Positions are open for five motivated teachers to teach health subject in government schools:
• Three teachers for schools in urban Panchkula (Haryana), one teacher for schools in urban Gurugram and one teacher for schools in urban Faridabad.

Responsibilities:

• To teach the health education curriculum, as developed by Tarang Health Alliance, to Class VI & VII in government schools.
• Collect data from students regarding assessment.
• Work with school principal & administration of the schools.
• Educate the parents of these students on health topics at least once every two months.
• Execute the Comprehensive School Health Program (CSHP) as developed by Tarang Health Alliance.
• Infrequently coordinate school trips for these students.
• Write weekly report and participate in regular online and offline meetings with Tarang staff.

Qualifications:

• B.Ed. with at least two years experience of teaching Biology, Science or Life skills to school students.
• Proficient in making power-point presentations to students & adults.
• Proficient in Hindi & English.
• Good communication and writing skills.
